The Goodness of Peppermint Oil

Have you experienced peppermint oil???

Did you know that peppermint oil is FULL of great benefits?

Well, you are in for a surprise!!!

Here we GOOOOO.... PEPPPERMINT OIL IS GOOD FOR:

Scalp Health: Peppermint oil is a natural astringent and helps to balance your scalp’s production of oil and sebum.
Skin Health: Peppermint oil also helps to control excess oil production on the rest of your body. And by controlling and eliminating excess oil on the skin, peppermint oil can helpclogged pores and acne.

Hair Growth: Because of its ability to relax blood vessels and stimulate blood flow to hair follicles, peppermint oil has also been used to stimulate hair growth.

Lips: Peppermint oil has a refreshing and cooling effect that feels wonderful on dry, cracked lips. In fact, peppermint oil is an active ingredient in many lip balms and chapsticks.

Tips - When applying peppermint oil to skin, you should first add a few drops of the oil to a cup of carrier oil like olive oil or sweet almond oil. Mix well and then use this oil blend on skin.

You should avoid using pure peppermint oil (or any pure essential oil) directly on skin. Pure essential oils are very potent and can irritate the skin. So make sure you dilute in a carrier oil before using on skin.

Peppermint Essential Oil is also good for:

Congestion: the menthol in peppermint oil can help relieve nasal congestion, as well as symptoms of colds, allergies, asthma and other respiratory conditions. If my family becomes congested - this is the first thing I use to help soothe them.

Pain relief: peppermint oil has muscle relaxing effects and can be used directly on skin to relieve soreness and pain – this really works!

Relief from burns and minor skin irritations: Peppermint oil can be used to help soothe the “burning” sensation from sunburn, skin inflammations, cuts, etc…

Do you have an oil burner??? Yes, it’s great for aromatherapy!!

Peppermint oil can be used to relieve anxiety, stress, headache and depressive symptoms. Try burning peppermint oil just before bed. It’s a great way to unwind after a stressful day.
